The Supreme Court ruled Monday that jailers may perform invasive strip searches on people arrested for minor offenses, advocating security needs over privacy rights.

The court rejected a challenge, by a 5-4 vote, from a New Jersey man, Albert Florence, who argued it's unconstitutional to force everyone to strip down for inspection. He was arrested by a state trooper because of an error in the state's records mistakenly saying he was wanted on an outstanding --->

The race for Geauga County Commissioner between incumbent Mary Samide and challenger Ralph Spidialeri has been one of the dirtiest I have seen yet, if not THE dirtiest in Geauga County.

What makes it that way is the fact that Ralph Spidialeri is clean, very clean, honest, not a politician, and his excellent qualities and popularity make him a great contender and big threat to Mary Samide.
