The following is a perspective my brother wrote in regard to the rally in DC 9-12 he attended. He is from South Carolina and is fighting the good fight like we are in Ohio. God bless him and all who attended.

WashingtonDC 9-12 March

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a couple of thoughts that had been rolling around in my head. I believe the 9/12 march in DC was significant and has galvanized and coalesced these thoughts into this email. Even though the Lame stream media has hardly mentioned and marginalized anything about it..... but there was a MILLION + of us in Washington on 9/12!! Looking at some web-sites and other email links, I believe it was closer to 2 million!! This should be alarming to all who value truth and believe in fair reporting of the news(only tens of thousands reported in the media-if mentioned at all).

The people who came were normal everyday people, there were no fights, the DC police reported that there were NO arrests, and that people were actually polite and well behaved. The entire area was as clean after the march as when it started...this was definitely a first. I spoke to a gentleman that was a retired Army officer now involved in counseling veterans. He had lived and worked near DC for over 20 years and said this was the most people he had ever seen in Washington. Also NOT reported, the DC area streets and metro rail were SHUT DOWN for safety concerns for quite a while due to overcrowding. The people kept on coming and coming.....some had to park outside the city and walk in to get to the protest on the mall!!! There were also Tea Parties in multiple cities in 45 other states across America, have any of you heard of these reported in the news either??

We all need to stand up and be heard and now is the time. It was an eye opener for me to realize there is NO ONE in Washington looking out for the average citizen. The Congress has their own gold-plated and EXCESSIVE retirement plan, not Social Security like us commoners. A gold-plated medical plan-not the one were being told to accept and they don't even pay their own taxes and then have no fear of jail or IRS penalties(Daschel,Geithner,Waxman etc.). They have set themselves up so that they are not PERSONALLY affected by the very laws they are requiring us to live under. And where is the complicit and lying media? Where is 60-minutes, Nightline,Dateline, etc when ACORN is encouraging illegal business and personal activities, tax evasion and child prostitution!! Yet a couple of 20 year olds with a video camera in get ACORN employees to spew their filth in broad daylight and ACRON does not even fear prosecution!!! This is a Community organization which is embraced by the Whitehouse, slated to work on the upcoming Census and in line to receive BILLIONS of our tax dollars!! And not caught on film just once but in BrooklynNY, BaltimoreMD, WashingtonDC, and San Bernadino CA. As (D) presidential candidate Michael Dukakis once said,"the dead fish rots from the head down".


Please understand that this march and movement is VERY DIFFERENT from any other march or protest DC had ever seen. We came to petition our Government to GET OUT of or business and not intervene. We came as citizens, not a voting block to be catered to. ALL of us came at our own expense. Some in our own vehicles, our time was not paid to be there, we are not astroturf or Nazis, as Nancy Pelosi has referred to those of us who want less of her type of Governance. Our displeasure was loud and encouraging to witness!!

The biggest difference is that we came without expecting personal benefit from the government...all we are asking is that the Government get out of our lives, return our freedoms and let the free markets work. It's the free market capitalism engine which provides the prosperity and opportunity to allow ALL Americans to achieve whatever lifestyle they have in mind.... if we are willing to work for it. The founding fathers framed a Constitution and Bill of Rights which guaranteed equal opportunity but did NOT guarantee equal results...that is what needs to be understood and embraced by any people who would wish to remain free. Free to fail or sail, it's our decision, not the decision of a would be king or all powerful dictator to make. It's freedom from Government and free market capitalism which guarantee opportunity to all.


I've been asked and have heard it asked will this really matter? Below is a link which was sent to my wife by a friend who was a little skeptical about what Diane was sharing with her on our experiences in Wasington(since she had not heard anything at all on the "major TV networks"). She must of made some inquiries afterwards on her own and was sent this link from one of her friends which she forwarded on to us. I believe she became aware of what's really happening since her friend(and this link) confirmed what we had been telling her BUT SHE DID NOT HEAR ABOUT IN THE LAME STREAM MEDIA. The truth will set you free...if only people will understand that the news media does not want you the average busy, hard working citizen to know what is really going on and what is really at stake. I will not look for and do not expect to receive validation or positive reporting from a media dedicated to falsifying and distorting the truth, a group with an agenda(to keep US citizens un-interested and un-informed) that will stop at nothing, sacrificing their integrity and the truth to propagate half truths and mis-information that is now the everyday fare offered up as news.

Please take a few moments to review the link below forwarded to us by our friend who we think now sees the huge discrepancy in what she saw on TV and what really happened. It has some great pictures and video, and after reviewing this for yourselves, then share this with your friends, talk it up and get involved, go to a TEA party, or join a 9/12 meeting in your area, go see for yourselves that the average US citizen is not the villains that our elected officials are making us out to be.

My friend Vince in Pa. sent this email of dialogue he had with his friend Judith so I know its accurate.  Some of the liberal news media reported that only 30,000 showed up to protest.  Maybe we should hold the next rallies in front of their offices, maybe then they will get the numbers correct.

Here is the dialogue with a friend of mine, Judith, that was a part of the rally in D.C.

Yes.  It was exhilarating to be part of history.  We had at least 2 million people.  The police said it was the largest crowd in the history of protestors.  They were totally unprepared but they admitted there wasn’t a single incident and they were really relaxed all day.  They said we were respectful and easy to work with.  If you haven’t gone on youtube and watched the video’s you should.  There are plenty.  We not only filled the area in front of the capital but also the area on both sides and down the mall to the Washington monument.  It is one mile from the capital to the Washington monument and it was filled.  I found out later that we did not have a permit to be on the mall.  Guess it didn’t matter.  They shut down Pennsylvania avenue .  It was one mile from Freedom Plaza , next to the White House, to the capital.  It was filled with marchers for 3 hours.  Every state was represented including Alaska and Hawaii .  There were more than 4500 buses, I think 5000 which dropped people off in Maryland and West of DC.  They took the Metro into town.  Imagine a fountain that bubbles up out of the ground and just keeps flowing.  That was what happened with the Metro stations exits.  People just kept bubbling out of the Metro and joining the march down Pennsylvania Avenue .

While most of the people had already assembled Marine One flew over taking Zero to Andrews AFB.  They flew right over the mass of people.  He had to see it but is ignoring it.

Some of us went early and filled many of the hotels around DC and Virginia.  On Friday night we went to Walter Reed where Code Pink protests the war and the troops every Friday night.  On Friday night troops leave the hospital to have a night on the town.  We were there to show them we support them.  There must have been 2000 of us and the troops saw and heard us.

On Thursday and Friday Afternoon we converged on the Senate and Congressional offices.  We had a chance to go to Joe Wilson’s office and thank him for standing up for the people.

As you see we left our Capital grounds and mall in pristine condition.

Next year we want to do it again, double the crowd, and call it a “Pink Slip” rally.

God blessed us with no rain.  It was great.

While we were in DC there was probably another 1 million participating in local Tea Parties around the country.  I believe we made a statement to congress – “Remember, it’s We The People.”  We did this without a leader, can you imagine what we will do when we have a leader?
