Gov Labels You "Right-wing Extremist 

Constitutional attorney John Whitehead, of the Rutherford Institute, is considered by many to be a legal, political and cultural watchdog—sounding the call for integrity, accountability and an adherence to the democratic principles on which this country was founded. As Whitehead often remarks, “Anytime people find themselves under fire from both the liberal left and the conservative right, it means that that person is probably right on target.”

The message on the street lately is that if you take part in protest rallies, voice your discontent through picket signs, or disrupt events with yelling or intermittent shouts, then you are likely a right-wing extremist or a member of an angry mob, and you must be silenced. However, in this week’s vodcast, John W. Whitehead reminds Americans that the people who fomented the American Revolution did so using the same tactics as those protesting President Obama’s health care plan and the nation’s mounting debt. This is democracy in action, and it's about time.
