Her Roots Are Rotting
"For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth,
and as a garden that hath no water." Isaiah 1:30
Our nation has stood as a mighty oak in the earth for many years. The source of her strength was righteousness. But while she has the Water of Life abundantly available, she has withdrawn her roots from partaking of the life-giving goodness of faithfulness to God and shunned its pursuit in favor of the parched dryness of evil and immorality. She is so wicked that pagans call her the “Great Satan.” An unwatered plant will stay green and healthy-looking for awhile, but it inevitably withers and dies. It becomes good for nothing but burning. It provides no sustenance to anything and is simply an eyesore upon the landscape. It becomes brittle and snaps under the least amount of pressure. Its splinters will easily harm anyone who depends on it. It stands as a reminder of dearth and death. There is no seed for gathering or for growing new life. In it you will only find rot and worms. Sad to say, but the picture is almost a mirror image of our once mighty nation. We are not feared or needed any longer. We have deserted trusted allies and bargained with their enemies for gain. Our troops do not defend liberty any longer but spill their blood so greedy despots can profit. Our men die for the profit of cankerous bankers, while told they are protecting the innocent. While they may do so, the ultimate purpose is the guarding of the vested interests of evil men. Politicians who decide whether they live or die, enjoy the “life of Riley” while making murderous decisions about the sons and fathers of our nation. God’s judgment will soon fall, and only the just will survive His terrible wrath. Warn your neighbors and loved ones with fervent zeal lest it become too late for them! God will not long, now, stay His hand from the wicked that have usurped the high places of government. “The show of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.” They will cry to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb!”
As withered oak in scorching sun,
The faithless are as such a one,
They seek not God nor love His Way,
They’ll perish sure on Judgment Day! ~CGP
Those who know not God believe they can resist Him. They believe a lie!
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." Revelation 19:11-13
