Judge Diane Grendell Given Bad Rap....
Allegations Are Distorted
In response to P.D. article by Brent Larkin (1-10-2010) titled “Judge Grendell’s poison pen does no good to the atmosphere of Ohio’s 11th District Court of Appeals”. It concerns e-mails between Judge Diane Grendell and Judge Mary Jane Trapp, bashing Judge Grendell.
The article should be ignored by everyone who has sense to consider the source; the liberal, biased, trash Plain Dealer and reporter Brent Larkin. And of course, as expected, they support Judge Mary Jane Trapp.
The article is horribly biased and slanted as Brent Larkin has never liked conservative Judge Grendell . It glosses over Judge Trapp and unfairly, without all pertinent information, bashes Judge Grendell. There has been dissention amongst the judges of that court including an uneasy work atmosphere, but like any other entity, the tone and atmosphere in the workplace is usually set by the person at the top, in this case Presiding Judge
Mary Jane Trapp , who does not seem to care or have the ability to accomplish a fair and harmonious atmosphere in that court. Not qualities of a good leader and supposed impartial judge.
It seems when anyone, like Judge Grendell, complains about the iniquities of a liberal, they are labeled a troublemaker and their remarks inflammatory.
I understand all employees of the court are required to take an oath of confidentiality regarding internal communications. An employee could be fired for leaking those e-mails and a judge could be disciplined by the Ohio Supreme Court. Only someone having access to the court computers could have leaked them. It is very suspicious, these e-mails being over a year old, would be leaked now.
It seems very likely that someone in Judge Trapp’s camp is responsible, possibly with her knowledge. As presiding Judge, it is Trapps responsibility to investigate such breaches. Ha! Does that sound like the fox guarding the hen house?!
I hope people will wake up and start electing those who truly represent us, like the Grendells do, instead of themselves!
